- Purpose
and structure of AHIA
- AHIA’s
relationship to NAIFA
- Role
of AHIA Chair
- How
the chair plays a vital part in the grassroots network for health
insurance and employee benefits professionals
- Coordinate
with Legislation Chair health-related legislative issues
- Submit
budget input to President Elect by 15 May
- Coordinate
with Program Chair and ensure at least 1 program per year is dedicated to
health-related issues
- Set
yearly goals and promote membership in AHIA
- Distribute
AHIA membership brochures
- Submit
and win AHIA Gold Award by 30 June
- Provide
articles for AdvisorNotes
- Make
periodic announcements at membership meetings. Use the AHIA Minute as an information
resource
- Update
membership on current health-related legislation
The AHIA Health Committee shall concern itself with study
and research into all phases of the health insurance business, not only in the
interest of the membership of this Association, but also in the interest of
establishing and maintaining said business on a basis where it will best serve
the needs of the public.
